Fable Pinot Noir

Bogle Merlot

The growing season of 2017 was perfect for winegrape growers: long, mild and dry. These optimal conditions allowed our merlot grapes to develop undisturbed, gathering balance and complexity that can be seen in this year's vintage.

Darker ruby in the glass than previous years, the wine hints of sweet basil and other summer herbs on the nose. Swiftly followed by a rich and round entry of black cherries and ripe plums, the silky fruit embraces the palate. Soft yet enveloping tannins finish the wine with touches of roasted cocoa and toasty oak from 10 months of aging in American oak barrels.

Dragoon IPA Draft

$6.50

This is a true West Coast IPA–it is pale in color, with bracing bitterness, high alcohol content and a fruity/floral/citrus hop aroma. It is made from a simple malt bill: North American base and pale caramel malt. We use copious amounts of Northwest hops all throughout the boil, with most of it going in within the last 15 minutes. After fermentation is complete, we dry hop it with approximately 1 boatload of each of the same hop varieties.

During ancient times, the drink made its way to Spain, where it is called horchata de chufa. When the Spaniards brought the drink to Mexico, the natives replaced the chufa nut with rice (although you can find the alternate chufa version in Mexico as well).

Agave Underground Tequila

During the 18th Century, King Charles III, the Spanish ruler who controlled Mexico at the time, was so concerned that the popularity of Tequila would dramatically impact the sales of Spanish wine and liqueurs that he actually banned the production of Tequila… making it illegal. However, the desire of the native people to satisfy their thirst for Tequila could not be overpowered. During this period of prohibition, the native population secretly baked the agave plants used to produce Tequila underground. This feverish and unrelenting desire to taste the raw natural flavors of agave survives today in Agave Underground.
