Tequila Blanco, simple syrup, lime juice shaken over ice and poured into a martini glass. We then float red wine over the top.

Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver, lime juice, agave nectar, pomegranate molasses, bitters.

Flavor Profile: A balance of agave and herbal notes with hints of spice from the tequila, peppery fruit-citrus from the sangrita, topped with fresca for brightness and effervescence, and a salted rim to make the flavors pop.
About Sangrita: Sangrita dates back to the 1920s, and is a customary partner to a shot of straight tequila blanco; a non-alcoholic accompaniment that highlights tequila's crisp acidity and cleanses the palate between each peppery sip. The basic conception of sangrita is to complement the flavor of 100% agave tequila, which is also peppery and citrusy in taste.

Horchata is a Mexican drink made with rice and is flavored with cinnamon and sweetened with sugar. The rice is ground and mixed with water to make a milky looking drink. It is served over ice as a cooling beverage in Mexico's hot climate.
The roots of this drink stem from Egypt where they originally used the chufa nut to make horchata.
During ancient times, the drink made its way to Spain, where it is called horchata de chufa. When the Spaniards brought the drink to Mexico, the natives replaced the chufa nut with rice (although you can find the alternate chufa version in Mexico as well).

1800 Tequila is a Mexican brand of tequila owned by the Beckmann Family, who also own the Jose Cuervo tequila brand. The 100% blue agave tequila is bottled in Jalisco, Mexico. 1800 is named after the year tequila was first aged in oak casks, and is sold throughout the world.
During the 18th Century, King Charles III, the Spanish ruler who controlled Mexico at the time, was so concerned that the popularity of Tequila would dramatically impact the sales of Spanish wine and liqueurs that he actually banned the production of Tequila… making it illegal. However, the desire of the native people to satisfy their thirst for Tequila could not be overpowered. During this period of prohibition, the native population secretly baked the agave plants used to produce Tequila underground. This feverish and unrelenting desire to taste the raw natural flavors of agave survives today in Agave Underground.
The distillery is located in the town of Tequila, Mexico's Jalisco region, they harvest only the most treasured blue agave in all of Mexico. The premium tequila is taken over the boarder to our Southern California base of operations where we distribute worldwide.
Introduced by Richard Betts, Astral is grown and produced on an organic farm in Jalisco. Longtime friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman love Casamigos. On the rocks, by the shot, at times, straight from the bottle. Tequila-filled nights with friends is how Casamigos was born. Our idea was to make the best-tasting, smoothest Tequila and Mezcal that didn't have to be covered up with salt or lime.
IN 1922 IN ARANDAS, MEXICO, DON JOSE MARIA BAÑUELOS LOOKED OUT HIS WINDOW AT THE ROLLING HILLS OF BLUE AGAVE. WHAT HE SAW, AMIDST THE RED CLAY AND TALL BLUE AGAVE, WAS A DEER, STANDING BRAVELY IN THE CENTER OF THE FIELD. SOMETHING ABOUT THE PRIDEFUL, CONFIDENT BEAUTY OF THE STAG STRUCK A NERVE WITH DON JOSE — IT WAS THE PERFECT SYMBOL FOR HIS NEW RECIPE FOR A SMOOTH YET BOLD, HIGHLAND TEQUILA. NATURALLY, THAT TEQUILA WAS NAMED CAZADORES — OR, THE HUNTERS.

Hector Davalos.
Chinacos were wealthy landowners during the 18th and 19th centuries who, out of necessity, became legendary fighters. The Chinaco warriors tirelessly defended Mexico during both the War of Reform and the French Intervention in the mid-1800s. Their leader was General Manuel González, and the history of Tequilera La Gonzaleña, producer of Chinaco Tequila, begins in 1856 when General González acquired land in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.

Mezcal Carreño started in 1904 with Don Apolonio Carreño. He had mezcal made from the wild agaves that grew naturally on his property, land that ironically was used to grow sugar cane and sold to the family of the largest rum producers. As a cherished spirit meant to be enjoyed on special occasions, Apolonio only sipped on his homemade mezcal with his family and friends on three times a year: his birthday, the start of the planting season and the end of the harvest.

Tequila-filled nights with friends is how Casamigos was born. Our idea was to make the best-tasting, smoothest Tequila and Mezcal that didn't have to be covered up with salt or lime.

Del Maguey (pronounced ma–gay), Single Village Mezcal was founded in 1995 by internationally renowned artist and mezcal visionary, Ron Cooper. Ron introduced the world to previously unavailable artisanal mezcal produced the original handcrafted way. Through deep cultural relationships with Zapotec Mexican Indian producers in the remote villages of Oaxaca and Puebla, Mexico, Del Maguey harnesses ancient, original organic processes.
Don Amado is made from earthen-roasted maguey hearts which are, after crushing, fermented together with their piña fibers for a rich maguey character. Around 2004, Ilegal's founder John Rexer began bringing mezcal down from Oaxaca to Antigua to supply his bar, Café No Sé. The mezcal became popular very quickly. At the time, he was bringing down unbranded mezcal from a variety of villages in Oaxaca. On the back of each bottle of Ilegal you will find it says "Originally produced for: Café No Sé, Mezcal Bar."
The name "Los Amantes" is inspired by the Aztec legend of the goddess Mayahuel who disobeyed her grandmother and gave herself to Quetzalcoatl for love. She paid with her life. Xicaru is the Zapotec word for beautiful. This name reflects mezcalero Fernando Santibañez's desire to share his artistic creations. Using his grandmother's recipe, Fernando makes small batches of Xicaru Mezcal at his palenque in Matatlán, Oaxaca. Its natural smoky flavor is derived by cooking the agave in a conical stone oven on mesquite and ocote, woods native to Oaxaca.
Traditionally, mezcals from different villages have their own distinctive flavors and aromas, which reflect the differences between distilleries, the soil, the local water sources, the wood used, and of course, the nuances created by the hand of the Maestro Mezcalero. Mezcal Nuestra Soledad is a single village Mezcal that showcases the differences between the villages. Mezcal Nuestra Soledad (a name which pays homage to Our Lady the Virgin of Solitude, the patron saint of the city of Oaxaca) is born from an ancient tradition and hand-crafted to conserve and retain the centuries-old methods of cultivating and producing this Elixir of the Gods.
